Remote Monitoring

Our Service Engineers detect threats and intrusions to your systems and provide the highest level of service to your business.  Most threats can be dealt with as soon as they are detected.

We will setup up and configure detailed performance monitoring on all mission critical servers to monitor important resources such as disk, CPU, memory and processes statistics.

This enables us to diagnose problems or issues with server bottlenecks and keep your business servers running at their optimum to maximise uptime.

We can also monitor your IP gateways, to ensure you do not become exposed to any new security holes and optimise the performance of your Internet connection.

Remote Monitoring - Daily

As part of Active CareIT, TDP Communications will remotely monitor all critical systems displaying:

• Disk usage
• CPU
• Memory and Processor statistics
• Mail Servers
• Internet Gateways
• Database systems
• Fire wall Systems
• Critical Server resources

If something occurs, we will notify you immediately of the issue and the action taken to rectify it.

The rectification of some issues may incur costs, depending on the issue; for example, replacement parts or labour if required.

Remote Monitoring - Monthly

As part of Active CareIT, TDP Communications will remotely monitor on a monthly basis and report to you the performance of:

• Antivirus Updates - Confirmation of antivirus software to ensure the latest updates are in use
• Monitor Tape Backups
• Server Logs – Monitoring of critical server applications, service and security logs
• Hot fixes and Service Packs – Updating and applying to servers the latest hot fixes and security patches
• Approving new security updates to be pushed down to workstation PC’s (Optional)
• Server storage maintenance – Check and log available capacities and remove unnecessary temporary files
• Logging of remote monitoring statistics
• Provide written reports covering maintenance activities and monitoring results
• Customer support portal for inventory and reports
• Internet usage monitoring

Remote Monitoring - Quarterly

These are ongoing activities that will improve longevity of your IT systems.

• Review defragmentation logs
• Perform security scan for vulnerability & fix
• Check Anti Virus protection
• Perform disk cleanup where required
• Review patch management and apply updates where required
• Full report of  maintenance work performed
• Hardware Inventory with change notification*
